            We have implemented and adopted privacy protections, policies and procedures to ensure that the personal financial information that you share with us in the process of obtaining and closing your mortgage loan is protected and held by us in confidence.  We employ security procedures to prevent any unauthorized access to your personal information.  We have implemented policies and practices to ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of your nonpublic personal financial information.  We also send annual privacy notices if required by applicable federal and state law.

            During the processing and through the closing of your mortgage loan we may use your information to provide better and more efficient service by sharing information with our non-affiliated third parties in order to give you competitively priced and prompt mortgage loan services.  An example of this would be sharing your non-financial personal information with credit reporting agencies to verify your credit history and rating as well as lenders who will need both personal financial information and personal non-financial information regarding employment and payment histories.  We may also share your non-financial personal information with a title company in order to expedite the closing process of your mortgage loan.

            Once you agree to utilize First Northern Financial Group, Inc. for your mortgage loan needs we obtain information from some or all of the following sources:

            *Information received directly from you on request, applications and other forms, such as your income in a loan application and indirectly from a lender, appraiser, or title company.

            *Consumer reporting agencies (credit bureaus), such as your credit history.

            *Information about your transaction with us or others, such as title information and personal financial information from your lender.

            We may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to the following types of third parties:

            *Settlement agents, lenders, credit reporting agencies and appraisers.

*State and federal regulatory agencies and bodies as required by law in the state in which your property is located in order to ensure that First Northern Financial Group, Inc. is complying with your state’s mortgage brokering regulations.

            *Insurance companies in order to obtain an appropriate insurance binder to prove the existence of homeowners insurance.

            *We are permitted by law to disclose nonpublic information about you to government entities in response to subpoenas and credit reporting bureaus.

You have the right to opt-out. You may instruct us not to share information about you as described in this privacy policy.  You have a right to opt out of the sharing by First Northern Financial Group, Inc., of your nonpublic personal financial information with non-affiliated third parties to the extent permitted by the privacy rules of Section 504 of the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act of 1999.  You understand that this section does not prohibit First Northern Financial Group, Inc. to continue to share such information as permitted by the opt out exceptions authorized by regulation P-Privacy of Consumer Financial Information.  You may call us at (800) 737-1366.
